My perfect home is-
At just three years old, Lucy has already overcome more than most. She was found on the streets of Macedonia being attacked by other dogs, and tragically her ear was torn in half before she could be brought to safety. Despite everything, Lucy hasn’t let her past define her — she’s full of love, joy, and a zest for life that’s impossible to resist.
Lucy is social, active, and playful. She can be left on her own just fine, though she might have a little whinge for ten minutes before settling — and when you return, expect the most enthusiastic welcome as she climbs up your leg in pure excitement!
She absolutely thrives on playtime and would love a home with another dog of a similar age who enjoys tug games and a good wrestle. That said, she could live as an only dog if her new family can provide plenty of company and regular socialisation.
Lucy is still getting used to walking, so she’ll need a patient adopter willing to take things at her pace (and occasionally offer a little carry!). She doesn't need a huge amount of exercise. She adores children — just watch those sharp little claws during excited greetings! — and she even tries to play with cats, thinking they’re just small, funny-looking puppies.
She’s house trained, sleeps through the night, and likes to be near you without being on top of you. Lucy knows “sit,” waits nicely for her dinner, isn’t a fussy eater, and while she may try her luck for extra snacks, she understands when she’s told “no.”
Lucy is a happy little girl, she loves to play with toys or the other dogs in her foster home, she especially loves a cuddle!
Lucy would love a family to spend time with and who will play with her and have lots of cuddles. She likes cats too!.
Lucy is ready for her second chance — a loving home where she can feel safe, have fun, and truly belong. Could that be with you?

Thinking of Fostering
Fostering is so rewarding and a great way of supporting without the commitment. Every dog we rescue requires assessing and this is what our wonderful fosters do. Applications for fosters are currently open.
Support Fundraising
Come join our coffee club or help with fundraisers. Donations are always welcome and 100% of all donations go towards rescuing dogs or their vets bills.
